Konstantinos Angelis

Hi! Welcome to my webpage. I am a 3rd year PhD student in the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment (GEE) at University College London (UCL), London, UK.

My PhD is in the field of Computational Molecular Evolution and involves development of statistical methods for the analysis of molecular data, simulation studies for the better understanding of those models and real data analysis. I finish my PhD in October 2015 and I am currently looking for new positions.

I have a BSc in Applied Maths and Physical Sciences and an MSc in Biostatistics. My MSc thesis was on Model Based Clustering on High Dimensional Data using mixtures of multivariate normal and t factor analyzers (you can find an abstract here). I have experience working with likelihood, Bayesian and MCMC methods and statistical packages such as R and Stata.

You can find my CV here and more details on my LinkedIn profile here.
